Important!!! Thermal insulation does not prevent pipes from freezing, but only slows it down! Maintaining a positive temperature with a heating cable prevents pipes from freezing.

 

Resistive heating cable or self-regulating heating cable can be used to heat pipes, which generates more heat when the temperature drops. Self-regulating heating cable, as opposed to resistive heating cable:

• does not overheat and does not burn out (has a service life);
• does not require special skills during installation;
• allows operation without a thermostat.
